The Excalibur Players are an elite troupe of our oldest actors, in seventh through twelfth grades, who delve into more advanced materials and receive a higher level of theater education.
Excalibur Programs have the same core values as throughout Creative Kids Playhouse, with excellent theater education by professionals who create a fun, safe environment that nurtures creativity, meeting and celebrating each individual at their own level. In the Excalibur Players, staff prioritize an education that is training to work in collegiate and professional theatre settings. These students are often astounded by what they accomplish.
Performers come away from these programs having had a fun, rewarding, accomplishment-filled experience, and often with a great deal of new friends as well!
The Camelot Players provide professional training for actors in seventh through twelfth grade as well. However, actors as young as 10 may join the cast with approval from the director of the show. The material is Excalibur level material, so we want to be sure our younger actors are ready.
