Support Us

Your Support Matters

At Creative Kids Playhouse, we teach and encourage our young actors to discover new talents, cross barriers, and develop a love for the arts. As they stand on our stage, they develop lifetime skills, confidence, and passions. Their achievements, large and small, are cause for celebration.

We depend on the financial support of people like you to help us bring musical theatre to our community.  We ask you to please join us in bringing CKP programs to more children and help form confident, talented community members.
We are unique because with CKP, every child registered is in the show! Our audition process is how our directors assign show parts, not who’s in and who’s out.
Ways to help:
  • DONATE ONLINE – A tax receipt will be emailed to you.
  • Donate your car, truck, RV or Boat – Your vehicle will be towed away, auctioned off, and 70% of the proceeds will be donated to Creative Kids Playhouse through the organization Donate For Charity.
  • Shop for groceries at Ralphs, register your Ralphs card to send a percentage of your purchase to Creative Kids Playhouse. Follow these directions to register your Ralphs card, use our Organization Number, LD148.
  • Sponsor A Show details about this exciting new program will be coming soon.

VOLUNTEER

In 2022 CKP enrolled 590 kids in 27 productions.  That simply would not be possible without volunteers.  This village needs seamstresses, set builders, photographers, bakers, ticket takers, ushers and more.  If you would like to donate some of your valuable time and attention to a coming production or an ongoing theatre need, please let us know.  We are happy to learn where your interest lies and match you with a volunteer opportunity.

A life-changing experience

When I’d spy on my daughter in Kindergarten, she was often in the corner, struggling with her shyness. When the teacher called on her, her answer was a whisper. The first grade teacher gave the same feedback, on her fall report card was the request that she raise her hand more often.  Her first musical in the spring of first grade, The Wizard of Oz, was such a life-changing experience that her grandmother made her a commemorative quilt.  She had a very small part as one of the Yellow Brick Road Crew, a group of twelve kids ranging from grades 1-6. Being a key, valued member of this team that included upper graders was huge. She loved every minute of the production, and discovered a new confidence in herself.  A month later, when the lead of her classroom play announced that he didn’t know his lines, the teacher asked for a volunteer to take his place.  My little girl raised her hand, volunteered, and played the part with joy and confidence. I admit that I cried.
