About the Show
Last year we did an experiment in Best of Broadway-we let the students choreograph their own number. The result was amazing, fun and creative! This is an advanced class. You do not need extensive dance training to do this class, but you will want to bring your highest level of creativity! Each student will be part of a team that creates the choreography for an assigned song. The instructor will guide the process, and students will need to be very self-motivated and able to work on a team to get the job done! On the last day of class, we will offer a showcase of work during the last 30 minutes.
Needed for class: Dance Shoes or sneakers, dance attire or comfortable clothing you can move in, extremely helpful to have phone or Ipad for researching material, filming movement ideas; pen and paper for writing down choreography.
This is a Camelot Players production for actors in 7th-12th grade. Actors at young as 5th grade may join with permission from the director.
Maximum of 15 students in this class.
