Maryclare is a proud Creative Kids Playhouse alumnus pursuing her BFA in Theatre from Texas Christian University. When not in Texas, she jumps at the opportunity to be inspired by the students at CKP. Maryclare loves to watch her students discover the same love for the theatre as she has, helping guide them to making important discoveries and choices in their characterization. She is so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing and learning about theatre with CKP now as a staff member, learning something new from her students at every rehearsal.
A few of Maryclare’s credits include assistant directing Kodachrome at Circle Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas. At TCU, she has directed, produced, and performed in An Underclassmen Cabaret, assistant stage managed Babette’s Feast & performed in short plays including Losing It and Now We’re Really Getting Somewhere. In 2020, Maryclare acted as CKP’s fundraising intern. Pre-college, Maryclare was the recipient of awards such as Best Performer in Texas’s UIL competition and a Thespy award for a solo performance.
